Day 1 : Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake

Tour Detail:

Day 1 : Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake (L, D)

With an early departure from Hanoi this morning you drive head north towards Ba Be Lake. This drive of 270 km the Red River Delta and up into the mountain areas north of Hanoi. As we progress nkm, which will take approximately seven hours, takes us through the flatlands of north, the scenery becomes more and more picturesque. From our scheduled lunch stop it is only around two and a half-hours to

our destination. Arriving in Ba Be town by mid afternoon we check in the host family Tay and then stroll around the village or a bit of exploration before sunset. You spend the night in the traditional house on stilts of Tay ethnic people.

Day 2: Ba Be - Cao Bang (B, L, D)

Today, we will spend the morning exploring the beauty of Ba Be lakes on the local canoes; we get transfer to a boat dock and then glide along the lake into Nang River and through the pretty cave. We will enjoy lunch and interact with the Tay minority in Cam village near the beautiful waterfall. After lunch, we canoe into the tranquil Ba Be lakes for its majesty. The followings are swimming and trekking sometimes to visit the ethnic minorities. We will come back to the village around 02:00 PM for the transfer to Cao bang, here the ethnic people of H’Mong, Dzao, Tho and Nung live together in harmony

Day 3: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc - Lang Son (B, L, D)

Heading out of town, we start venturing into the most remote northern regions of Cao Bang Province. The scenic roads traverse Trung Khanh before arriving at Ban Gioc Waterfall, which boasts the biggest waterfall in Vietnam (although not full of water in the dry season).There is an enormous cave with two main entrances, one branch reaching almost all the way to the waterfalls where there is a second ‘secret’ entrance. We arrive Lang Son in the late afternoon

Day 4: Lang Son - Ha Long (B, L, D)

We transfer to Ha Long in Quang Ninh province, it is the famous landscape of Viet Nam, and special also it is one of seven wonder were recognized in 2011 by UNESCO. Then, Savor a sumptuous lunch as Oriental sail cruise further along the limestone islands of Fighting Cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner…Visit Amazing Cave, Enjoy drinks on Sundeck, snap photos the overview of Halong Bay, go swimming or just relax as the sun starts to set.
Those who fancy some experience in cooking Vietnamese dishes can join in our brief Vietnamese cooking course on board while having some free wine. After that having dinner. Socialize with other guests or just laze around.
*Overnight on board in a tranquil area. (Evening activities available: night squid fishing, karaoke, dancing…)

Day 5: Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi (B, L)

Start your day with swimming, exercise or photo hunt
Have breakfast at sunrise.
Get your hand on some kayaking, visiting Luon cave, swimming.
Option: For those who do not fancy kayaking can visit Titop Island to enjoy the panorama view of Halong Bay or just relax, swim at the beach.
Head back to the Harbor.
Disembark Calypso Cruiser at around 11h00
Transfer back to Hanoi and trip finishes at the hotel around 17h00
